Mägo de Oz is a Spanish folk metal band from Begoña, Madrid formed in mid-1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The group became known for their strong Celtic feel in music enhanced by their frequent use of a violinist and flute player. The group's name was chosen, according to founding member Txus, because "life is a yellow brick road, on which we go with others in search of our dreams". On October 26, 2018, the band held a special concert to celebrate its 30th anniversary, performing with a symphony orchestra at the WiZink Center in Madrid.
